Abstract

The Classical PI controllers have been imperatively preferred for the control action of the active compensators in a power distribution system. However, the performance of these controllers is affected greatly by varying parameters and uncertainties in modeling and also high stability issues. In other side fuzzy logic based PI controllers have more robust and accurate appearance. The main intention of this work is to analyze and implementation of an adaptive intelligent controller for DSTATCOM for the expedited in-phase vectorial formulation template with mamdani fuzzy structure. The in-phase de-opposition of the current wave injected by the compensator is able to enhancing power quality features at PCC level. The efficient performance of robust adaptive fuzzy algorithm for the PI gain values are to be controlled by the operation of DSTATCOM. It enforce the non-adaptive control actions in terms of expressive dynamic response, inferior steady state error and achieve good stability with the appreciate dynamic behavior of adaptive intelligent type DSTATCOM under Matlab/Simulink tool.
