Abstract
This is treated in all the same ways as the above subject of partnership. I shall present a single problem wherein will appear all the ways of treating such problems, which is the following. (B.121) From a mass consisting of a mixture of ten ounces of gold, fourteen of silver and twenty of brass a part is taken which weighs twelve ounces. How much of each metal is there in this part?
