Abstract
A t-norm is a mapping T: [0, 1] × [0, 1] → [0, 1] such that: (i) T(a, 1) = a; (ii) T(a, b) = T(b, a); (iii) T(a, b) ≤ T(c, d), whenever a ≤ c, b≤ d; (iv) T(a, T(b, c)) = T(T(a, b), c).
