Abstract

The introduction of edge computing into the industrial internet brings many benefits. It can meet the demand of the real-time transmission and high reliability of industrial data. It is a challenge to ensure the data confidentiality between field nodes and edge nodes while meeting the requirements of high real-time in the industrial internet. This paper proposes a security framework and designs a security mechanism for edge nodes in the industrial internet. A test platform is implemented. The result shows that the proposed scheme is efficient, the data confidentiality in the industrial internet with edge side are effectively improved.
