Interfacial Characteristics of Nitride-Polymer Composites

Abstract

Nitride-polymer composites combine the advantages of nitride fillers and polymer properties; as a result, they are expected to produce excellent properties for a new material that is easy to process. In this chapter, the morphology of untreated and treated nitride composites is discussed in order to discover which nitride filler enhances the interfacial adhesion and disperses better without forming agglomerates in a polymer matrix.
