Abstract
Although the Macintosh has a reputation for being more expensive than similar Windows PCs, you can actually pay less than retail price for a Macintosh if you know where to shop. In addition, you can save money buying a used Macintosh that may be just as reliable and useful as a new one. By knowing different ways to save money, you can buy the Macintosh you want at the right price for you.
