Abstract

Ten years ago our “University for the Aged” at Louvain-la-Neuve became conscious of the primary role the work with retirement had to play. The massive retirements and pre-retirements that have been realized since the beginning of the 70ies have modified the structure of our population. A new social group has appeared, the “young retired” group.

This chapter is a shortened version of the original reports. The reports cover two sessions of the Congress. French text has been translated into English. Editor and translator is Åke Vinterbäck.
