Abstract

This book has two principal aims. The first is to provide a clear text dealing with the relationship between resource management and cost control for students on construction courses. The second is to provide an easy-to-use reference book for managers seeking to improve their administration systems via an integrated approach to cost and resource control. If the relationships which exist between information employed in each of a company’s information systems are clearly identified and understood, a manager is armed with a potentially more powerful decision-making tool than if each of the systems is considered to be a separate entity.
