Abstract

This is a summary and analysis of the results of Salmonella/ mammalian-microsome assays of benzidine (BZD), 4,4″-diaminoterphenyl (DAT), 4-dimethylaminoazobenzene (DAB) and 4-cyanodimethylaniline (CDA). These results were obtained from assays performed by sixteen laboratories which participated in the Second UKEMS Collaborative Genotoxicity Study during 1982–3.
