Abstract
We present preliminary results of a recent VLA observation of the 616−523 masing transition of interstellar H2O toward the ultracompact HII regions G29.96 − 0.02 and G5.89 − 0.39. The positions of the maser spots relative to the ionized gas are given and their radial velocities are compared with velocities obtained from molecular line and hydrogen recombination line observations.
