Neurological Update

In its popular “Neurological Update” section, Journal of Neurology publishes invited reviews which provide an update on the key emerging issues in subfields of clinical neurology. Outstanding experts are invited by Roger A. Barker, one of the Chief Editors of Journal of Neurology, to contribute an update in their field of expertise.

    Roger Barker is Professor of Clinical Neuroscience and Honorary Consultant in Neurology at the University of Cambridge and at Addenbrooke's Hospital; a PI in the MRC-Wellcome Stem Cell Institute in Cambridge and Director of the MRC funded UKRMP Stem and Engineered cell hub. His research focuses on clinical aspects of Parkinson's and Huntington's disease including the study of disease heterogeneity, the value of different biomarker, and experimental therapies including gene and cell approaches. He is a Co-Editor in Chief of the Journal of Neurology and responsible for the “Neurological Update” review series.
