Special Issue: Regulation of Nutrient Metabolism in Fish

Nutrient metabolism is essential for living organisms and is precisely regulated to maintain normal physiological processes in fish. The understanding of regulation of nutrient metabolism is needed to gain insight into the mechanisms involved in growth, development, reproduction, immunological reaction, and environmental adaptation. This knowledge can also be applied to supporting sustainable aquaculture and wild fish conservation. For this special issue, we encourage authors to submit papers that focus on the regulatory mechanisms of nutrient metabolism in all physiological processes. Descriptive manuscripts related to nutritional evaluation of feed ingredients will not be considered.
