Random/Stochastic Differential Equations in Engineering Problems
This collection aims to include high quality research papers for the scientific community working on stochastic computations with applications to engineering problems. Some potential topics include but are not limited to (a) Random perturbation techniques in nonlinear mechanics, (b) Wave propagation in random medium, (c) Diffusion process with stochastic information, (d) Parameter estimation and inverse problems with uncertainties in engineering: Design of new algorithms and applications, (e) Kolmogorov generalized partial differential equations and their applications in vibrations and sound, (f) Random fatigue models, and (g) stochastic stability in structures.

Dr. Hemen Dutta
Hemen Dutta is serving Gauhati University, India regularly as a faculty member since 2010. Prior to joining Gauhati University, he served three other academic institutions in different capacities. He is currently interested in nonlinear analysis and mathematical modelling. He has over 150 publications, and served/serving as regular and guest editor of 10 SCIE journals and 1 book series. He has to his credit 24 authored & edited books and conference proceedings so far. He is a selected member and life member of some academies and societies, and also organizing events for students and researchers regularly.

Dr. Juan-Carlos Cortes
Juan Carlos Cortés López is full Professor in Applied Mathematics at the Universitat Politécnica de Valencia (UPV), Spain. Since 2009 he is the Research Vice Director of the Multidisciplinary Mathematical Institute at the UPV, leading a research group of Modelling Uncertainty Quantification. He has co-authored more than 150 papers indexed in JCR journals. He has taken part in scientific and/or steering committees of more than 20 international conferences around the world. He has been the advisor of 8 PhD students and 30 MSc theses. He is an experienced editor and guest editor of more than 15 JCR journals.
