Coastal Vulnerability in West and Central Africa
This thematic issue focuses on the current state of coastal zone vulnerability, techniques and networks for monitoring at-risk areas and marine parks, and associated action and development plans to reduce risk in these coastal zones, particularly in West and Central Africa. The collection will include topics on quantification of coastal vulnerability, coastal monitoring networks and observatories, and sustainable coastal development policies.

Grégoire Abessolo
Gregoire Ondoa Abessolo is currently a lecturer in the oceanography department of the Institute of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences at the University of Douala (Cameroon). He has received a Ph.D. in 2020 in Ocean, Atmosphere and Climate from the Laboratoire d'Etudes en Géophysique et Océanographie Spatiales (LEGOS) in Toulouse, France.
