Eating disorders are considered female gender-bound disorders. This view, persistent over time, has led to a significant underestimation of eating disorders in males, who, consequently, have not been adequately studied. So, up to now eating disorders in males appear to be a very challenging area. The topical collection will focus on feeding and eating disorders in males including hidden and less known disordered eating behaviors.
Articles published in the collection have already gone through the systematic peer review process of the journal.
