Multicomponent carbon nanomaterials

Carbon-based nanomaterials have created a great revolution in various branches of science, especially medicine and environment. Access to accurate and widely used tools has led to significant growth in the treatment of patients and the improvement of living conditions. Scientific reported confirmed carbon-based nanomaterials can be used to monitor in real-time some pollutants and also medical devices fabricated by nanotechnology would not be hazardous to the environment. In recent years, multicomponent carbon-based nanomaterials have greatly helped to improve the capabilities of materials used in medicine and the environment. Changes in the structure and physical and chemical properties of multi-component carbon-based nanomaterials have made it possible to design robots, tools and sensitive sensors in medical and environmental applications to grow significantly. Nano-carriers fabricated by carbon-based multi-component nanomaterials and carbon-magnetic nanomaterials created a great revolution in medicine and environment. This special issue examines the role of carbon-based multi-component nanomaterials in improving medical and environmental systems such as nanostructure sensors, high efficiency absorbents, nanocarriers and etc.

Specific topics (Not limited):

• Synthesis of new carbon-based multi-component nanomaterials and application for water treatment application

• Application of new carbon-based multi-component nanomaterials in sensing and monitoring of pharmaceutical compounds and environmental pollutants

• Application of new carbon-based multi-component nanomaterials in drug delivery

• Theoretical study on the carbon-based nano-structure materials in clinical and treatment systems
