Special Issue 2022: Evolution of Innate Immune Receptors
- Submission status
- Closed
This 2022 Special Issue focuses on the evolution of innate immune receptors, and includes examples from plants, invertebrates and vertebrates that are anchored on the cell surface, expressed intracellularly or secreted. This collection of reviews details the diversity and distribution of a multitude of receptors and receptor families that detect microbial ligands or mediate allorecognition, as well as those whose functions remain unknown.
