Non-destructive techniques for cultural heritage

The papers originated from the symposium “Non-Destructive Techniques for Cultural Heritage”, held in Buenos Aires on the 12th of October 2018, with special focus on the study and preservation of Cultural Heritage (CH). It was organized by Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna Representación en la República Argentina, the Latin American headquarters of the Italian University, the Italian Embassy in Buenos Aires and the National Institute of Nuclear Physics (INFN). It was a follow-up of the 14th International Symposium on Radiation Physics (ISRP-2018) held during the same week in Cordoba which hosted renowned scientist from all the world, many attending both meetings and contributing to this issue. The aim was to draw attention to a problem of great cultural interest and socio-economic significance and to start building a wide collaboration between Italian and Argentinian partners open to international scientists.
