4th International Symposium on Urban and Industrial Safety (ISUIS 2022)

Process Safety and Disaster Prevention Laboratory have been devoted to loss prevention and safety promotion in the chemical industries since 1991. In view of the safety issue of emerging energy and chemical industry is the development direction, the International Conference of 4th International Symposium on Urban and Industrial Safety (ISUIS) gathered and shared: Energy security, such as the safety of battery-related materials, offshore green power generation unit and maintenance which is implementing. Process/Coal safety and material replacement due to the energy demand in China. In addition to developing and improving new green technologies and materials, different national policies on the development of green chemistry and the chemical industry are not the same. It is of great reference value and must be discussed for the difficulties and safety of its practical application, which is also a challenge that must be overcome. The selected outstanding papers in the Special Issue of the Journal of Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry inspire peers in various ideas and concerns at ISUIS held in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, China, December 02–04, 2022 (Friday to Sunday).
