Special Issue: Genetics of Cardiovascular Disease
This special issue on the Genetics of Cardiovascular Disease will aim to illustrate the tremendous advances in the use of mouse and other mammalian organisms in the analysis of the genetic, molecular and pathophysiological bases of cardiovascular disease.
The issue will feature themes including the healthy heart, animal models of congenital heart disease, the reproducibility and robustness of such models, the heart/brain axis, the use of organoids in cardiovascular research and the influence of COVID 19 on heart disease.
