International Conference on Smart and Sustainable Technologies (SpliTech2024)
This special issue will cover a wide spectrum of contributions that discusses the role of engineering in finding solutions to solve key nowadays population issues and that are mainly related to sustainability aspects. Recent technological developments in the digitalization area allowed additional tools to support smart and efficient solutions in energy field and environmental protection. Special care should be focused on solutions that consider environmental aspects also besides performance and economic aspects. The 9th International Conference on International conference on Smart and Sustainable Technologies (SpliTech2024) is focused on the latest advancements and knowledge dissemination towards sustainable solutions in engineering. Practical and useful innovations in various engineering disciplines will be discussed within this SI, with new knowledge useful for academia members, industry professionals, and policy makers. The 9th International Conference on Smart and Sustainable Technologies (SpliTech2024) will be held from 25-28th June 2024 in Bol (Island of Brač), Croatia.
