Colorectal cancer is a major cause of cancer-related morbidity and mortality worldwide. There is growing interest in developing personalized approaches to multidisciplinary cancer care that take into consideration an individual cancer’s unique clinical, biological, genetic, radiographic, and other characteristics. In this special article for the Journal of Gastrointestinal Cancer, we highlight several timely review and original research articles on advances in personalized therapy for colorectal cancer.
