Information and Operations Management in Digital Economy

This special issue aims to attract state-of-the-art research on operations innovations and supply chain management in the digital economy. We are particularly interested in stimulating research that illustrates how companies can apply business analytics and new business operations innovations in the context of emerging technologies. Any new models, theories and methods related to the digital economy fit the mission. Examples of topics include (but are not limited to): a. New business models and information management in the digital age; b. Platform management and operations in the context of e-commerce; c. Information management optimization, marketing and operations in the digital age; d. Managing information acquisition, disclosure, and sharing in new business models; e. Application of blockchain, machine learning, cloud services, AI technology, etc. in IS or OM; f. Behavioral operations management related to social preferences.
