Abstract
In the chilly Indiana winter of early 2016, we sat down for a meeting. We were in the agricultural economics building at Purdue, which has served as Indiana’s land grant university since 1869, where we work with some of the world’s foremost experts on food, health, and the environment. All those present at this meeting, in their individual research, were seeking answers to the enormous challenge of feeding the world sustainably.
