Abstract

ABUA - abn, (syn. Abuan). Abua is spoken by 25,000 people in Nigeria. Classification: Niger Congo, Atlantic-Congo, Volta-Congo, Benue-Congo, Cross River, Delta Cross, Central Delta, Abua-Odual. Dialects: Central Abuan, Emughan, Otapha, and Okpeden.

In instances where the identity of the language is not definitive, a temporary code has been assigned and is in italics.
