Abstract

It is high level of urbanization, more laid-off workers, and greater pressure of pension in the old industrial area. Therefore, it is considerable realistic significance to know the need of dwelling-type and solve the contradiction between supply and demand under the current condition on “getting old before rich”. Applying an investigation and multinomial logistic regression model explored how factors have shaped the residential choices of dwellers. It focused on the three private-dwelling types and considered different abilities to self-care. The analysis shows that individuals appear to choose their housing with nursing care. The analysis also indicates it is better to bring in professional operation team into the old-age care project.
