Abstract
The “bottom-up” approach is an important evaluation method of function economic value in value engineering. According to the “bottom-up” approach theory, we usually choose one or more functions as the Base Points to calculate the value coefficient and the target cost. The premise of this approach was chosen as the Base Point function and the other functions on comparable in manufacturing process and design method, as well as the realization method belong to the same category, therefore it is not suitable for today’s highly integrated mechanical and electrical integration products. Because of the complex of the function design and manufacturing process this paper of the ‘Multi categories “bottom-up” approach’ can effectively solve the defect of classical theory.
