This has been a journey into young Argentineans’ postmemories of terror, an exploration into how the events of the dictatorship were being constructed, transmitted, and reconstructed. Participants’ voices have shed light on young people’s understanding of what happened and why it happened, the sources on which they base their knowledge, what their attitudes toward this historical period and its aftermath were, and how particular ways of remembering shape opinions and actions.
