Abstract

Why oh why, do we try to tap new ideas by holding meetings in a sterile office, or worse, go bankdraft in hand to yet another 10 per cent royalty consultant, when there is a rich source of original ideas out there? It is beyond me. When I come back with colleagues from an exhibition or a trip to some unusual company, city and especially country, our heads are brimming with seeds for new and exciting markets. The message here: sit at your desk and that will be the scope of your view; explore the commercial jungle and a portal for innovation will open.
