Abstract

This chapter is a largely qualitative discussion of the media coverage of the 2015 Women’s World Cup, focusing on particularly significant reports as well as respondents’ perceptions of them. It also details the official viewing figures for the tournament, released by FIFA, and compares them to previous events; and reflects on respondents’ memories of the media coverage of World Cups in the past.
