Abstract
In this section, we move from the macro level analysis of the nation to micro-economic foundations in the chosen area of our field work in the three Indian States of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Kerala and their select higher educational institutions surveyed after briefly defining the HDI, GDI, and GEM indices.
