Abstract
The clock is always ticking. That’s a cold, hard fact that none of us likes to face. For those in positions of influence, this can be especially difficult because it means stepping back from roles and responsibilities that have been embraced with pride and gusto. Future profits depend on future people, and the talent pipelines need to be filled. Passing on a legacy is the ultimate test of success, and it’s much more than handing over the office keys.
