Abstract

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF MANAGERS is marked by constant demands that push and pull them in many directions. Notes

  1. I originally published this career development framework in my previous book, Beyond the Job Description. It includes more detailed ways to establish a “Future-Proof Plan” that gives you constructive methods for creating the working life you want. For more information, see Jesse Sostrin, Beyond the Job Description: How Managers and Employees Can Navigate the True Demands of the Job (New York: Palgrave Macmillan, 2013).
