Abstract

Educational systems in a large number of countries are facing a critical state of affairs in many aspects. Poor-quality schools, persistent social inequality, and local administrations that struggle to stretch their funds in the most efficient way possible mean that large chunks of our student-age population receive insufficient education — if not drop out.
