The Bologna Process

Abstract

The Bologna Process started in 19991 as an inter-ministerial initiative of 29 countries, and by 2014 it engaged 47 countries.2 The Bologna Process aims to harmonise the higher education systems of its signatory countries by the creation of a European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
