Abstract
Level 3 describes the amount of actual observable behavior change demonstrated by employees as a result of training. That is, what are employees doing differently (and hopefully better) in the months after the formal training event ends? You can measure post-training behavior anywhere from a day to a year after training, but I recommend 3 months because it’s short enough to still be fresh and long enough to give trainees time to demonstrate some level of sustained improvement. At this three-month period, you will ask participants and coworkers to assess very specific and observable behaviors.
