Abstract

The purpose of bringing together diverse and comprehensive analyses of anti-social behaviour in Victorian and contemporary Britain in this book was to attempt to reveal any analogies regarding anti-social behaviour and governmental approaches to it. Through the 25 cross-disciplinary chapters, clear continuities stand out between the two periods examined.
