Abstract

This chapter describes, in detail, the workshop activities associated with the Ecocide Project, an example of Research Theatre. It includes discussion of the main questions we were asking in that project, the primary critical works we were using, and the improvisational strategies we used to explore our questions. All three of those elements taken together—critical questioning, readings, and structured improvisations—constitute the practice we call Research Theatre.
