Abstract
This chapter considers the Episcopal Church’s efforts in the arena of official Christian-Muslim relations per se. It seeks to explain the relationship of the Episcopal Church’s engagement of Islam and Muslims to its broader address of interreligious concerns, to summarize the history of its official teachings on Christian-Muslim relations, and to describe characteristics of an Episcopal theology of Christian-Muslim engagement.
