Abstract

In the world that we live in, operating conditions get categorized as normal, abnormal and extreme. When we spend too much in the normal state, our ability to predict, handle and react to extreme events is degraded1. Stress testing refers to a process through which we try and assess the impact of abnormal and extreme conditions on our processes, control systems, organization and capital.
