Abstract
The world we are living in makes itself transparent to us through many geographic features such as rivers, mountains or oceans that either connect or separate people, states and regions. In nearly every official document we fill out we need to indicate our allocation to a nation, region or, generally speaking, a place. The world and her different divisions are, therefore, an integral part of our daily life and we refer to territorial states or world regions rather naturally.
