Abstract
The cry ‘We want peace!’, uttered by mankind that has just come through two horrifying world wars and is threatened by a third exterminating war, is far too human a cry, too beautiful, too natural to fall on deaf ears: it cannot fail to be echoed by applause among all men whose hearts are not those of fierce beasts.
