Abstract

This chapter summarizes the consumption of informal and underground goods in South Texas. Nearly universal is the consumption of informal goods and services in the region; the consumption of underground goods and services while not universal is commonplace. The key variables of income and morality are highlighted within the backdrop of the South Texas borderlands milieu.
