Abstract
A familiar figure to many New-Yorkers was seen among the passengers on the Etruria, which arrived here yesterday, a tall broad-shouldered man, with auburn beard clipped in Van Dyke fashion. It was Bram Stoker, well-known as Henry Irving’s business manager. Soon after his arrival he was seen at the Brunswick Hotel and chatted pleasantly and directly about Mr. Irving, Miss Terry and “Faust.”
This interview is reprinted from The New-York Daily Tribune (November 1, 1886): 5.
