Abstract

In Forces for Good? I have sought to intervene in feminist debates about whether soldiers can ever be used to contribute to peace. Drawing on British soldiers’ personal narratives, I have argued that there is evidence of complexity and contradiction in military masculinities which makes for a more nuanced response to the issue than that given by many feminist critics of military intervention.
