Abstract

In earlier chapters we have explored how the rising volumes of social media postings may expose users to harm when they are viewed by unanticipated audiences and at unanticipated times. But it is also worth considering why, despite these risks and despite the ready availability of a multitude of other means of social interaction, social media use continues to grown in breadth and depth.
