Abstract
Struggle is an idea built into the very definition of recognition. Through conflicts, oppressed subjects seek to displace social practices and interpretations, which render unfeasible for many persons the possibility of self-realization. Axel Honneth always treated the reconfiguration of moral grammars as an agonistic process, wherein social transformation is rooted in struggle.
