Abstract
A reader may surely come to feel comfortable with, and learn much from the Analects without ever following any of the suggestions for doing so that run through this little Companion. And almost as surely it would hinder befriending the book by attempting to follow all of them from the start. But some of the suggestions should be of some assistance to some people, others to others and perhaps everyone should become acquainted with the students.
