Abstract
We have spent most of this book thinking about metaphysics in a broad way. My language has focussed on properties and we have asked whether values exist and what they are like if they do. But, note that we have ventured every so often into talk of moral language and its function, and we have occasionally thought about the mental states that accompany language.
