Abstract

Each chapter in this book describes a different and relatively new way to conceptualise and appreciate strategy. It is written by an eclectic group of people who share expertise in strategy, but are from diverse backgrounds representing a matrix of disciplines, academia, practice and consultancy. It is about how we make sense of strategy from our experiences and through applying our theoretical training. From these diverse perspectives come shared themes and common insights that, we think, debunk some persistent but dated notions, bring strategy to life, make it real and are the future of effective strategic practice.
